Export images and print-ready sheets
Export starts from the generated pieces selected in the Export workspace. It uses an immutable snapshot: edits made while the job is running belong to the next export.
Image output
- PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency where the output supports it.
- JPG creates smaller photographic files without transparency.
- ZIP collects individual generated images into one download.
Choose a quality appropriate to the stage. Prototype quality is faster for table testing; use the intended final dimensions and quality before approving artwork or small text.
PDF sheets
PDF settings control:
- Paper size and orientation.
- Page margins.
- Card spacing and sheet arrangement.
- Bleed, crop, cut, and safe-area marks.
- Front/back and duplex alignment.
- Shaped or custom sheet layouts where supported.
Printer behaviour varies. Ask the printer which bleed, marks, colour expectations, and duplex edge they require before building the final PDF.
During export
You can leave the Export workspace while background work continues. The export manager reports progress and exposes completed downloads. A reconnect or page reload should resume the visible job state rather than starting a duplicate export.
If the export fails, read the reported cause. Missing references, unavailable artwork, or font problems must be fixed in the project; repeatedly starting the same snapshot will not repair them.
Proof before production
- Print one page at 100% scale with browser/printer “fit” options disabled.
- Measure a card against its intended physical size.
- Cut representative pieces and inspect the safe area.
- Flip a duplex sheet and verify orientation/alignment.
- Check small text and dark artwork under ordinary room light.
Studio does not currently create SVG card exports.
