Manage projects
The Studio library shows the projects you own and projects shared with you. Search by name and use collections to keep a larger library manageable.
Duplicate a project
Duplicate when you want an independent branch for a major experiment, a teaching copy, or a reusable starting point. The copy receives its own designs and data; later changes do not flow between the two projects.
After duplication, rename the copy immediately and check collaborators before sharing it.
Move through the project lifecycle
- Draft is active work.
- Playtesting marks a project being tried with players.
- Published marks a finished or released game.
- Archived removes a quiet project from the active library without deleting it.
Lifecycle labels help people understand intent; they do not lock editing or replace team roles.
Import and export a project archive
A project archive is for moving or backing up an entire project. It is different from exporting card images or a dataset.
Before relying on an archive:
- Keep the downloaded file unchanged.
- Import it as a separate project.
- Open representative designs, datasets, images, and fonts.
- Run a small export to confirm the result.
Delete safely
Deletion affects the project and its stored content. Before confirming:
- Download a project archive if it may be needed later.
- Save final print and playtest exports outside Studio.
- Tell collaborators so they do not keep editing a project that is about to disappear.
- Check whether a Tabletop Simulator URL or Screentop pack still points to this project’s hosted output.
There is no public, anonymous project link. Sharing a project means inviting a person to an authenticated role. See Collaboration and sharing.
